HTC Desire 510 official stock firmware available here for free download. You can use it for flashing your phone. If you are beginner in flashing you will need to follow below tips carefully.
- Your phone should be rooted. If your smartphone is not rooted read the rooting tutorial to root HTC Desire 510.
- Make sure that your smartphone is having recovery in it. If your smartphone has no recovey installed read this to install custom recovey. (process is at end of the page)
- Make backup of all the data which is present in your smartphone as your data will be deleted once you install the custom rom on your device.
- Make sure that your computer is having drivers of HTC Desire 510 installed.
- USB debugging should ne enabled on your computer. To enable USB debugging you can go to Settings > Developer Options > Enable USB debugging.
- Your smartphone should have more than 80% of battery in it.
- Make sure that your smartphone is having recovery in it.

Your CID should be stock. If you changed it in order to get a specific country/region OTA update or as a lot do for flashing ease and just use Super CID. In order to run the RUU to reset everything to stock. So you can’t really mess anything up because if your CID is not correct the RUU will not run and not flash anything. So let’s get started.
