Etisalat had earlier notified to stop service in Nigeria but instead of terminating its activites and losing its subscribers, the shareholders concluded on a change of name. Etisalat has just changed its name to 9mobile at an executive meeting held in Lagos two hours ago, the name 9Mobile was adopted and all staff across the country are being notified of the change of name.
